1 Summary Religion in textbooks for the second-grade elementary schools. Recently, there has been an increasing level of discussion about religion in the public space. Nonetheless, uneducated opinions are often being used. In my work, I focused on what kind of information are being passed onto pupils of primary schools, regardless of the interest of particular teacher. Fátorová, Eliška ; Fiřtová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Raková, Svatava (referee)
Canada is one of the countries dealing with the conflict of Aboriginal peoples and newcomers from Europe. Canadian government has been applying a concept of assimilation of Aboriginal peoples for decades but without success. In 1968 the liberal government of Pierre Elliot Trudeau came to power and decided to resolve this problem once and for all. Trudeau's government wanted to unify the rights of all Canadian citizens and came up with undifferentiated universal citizenship. This would mean for Aboriginal peoples to give up their special rights and status. Aboriginal reaction to the proposal came soon afterwards when they published their document called Citizens plus, where they opposed government's vision. They started to form political organisations and fight for their rights and recognition in the Canadian constitution. My bachelor thesis Federal Government's changing policy toward Aboriginal peoples in Canada during the period of Pierre Elliot Trudeau tries to answer the question, whether the 1969 white paper and Aboriginal reaction to it where the key starting moments of the struggle for differentiated citizenship in Canada. To answer this question this work uses historical background, key government documents and theoretical approaches to this subject by authors such as Charles Taylor or Will...

Rubešková, Martina ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Pachta, Lukáš (referee)
The present thesis deals with the changing status position of the army in the French defence policy according to the expanded security concept of the Copenhagen school. The concept of security in France has changed after the end of the Cold War, the consequent disappearance of the threat represented by the clash of the East and West and with the expansion of the threat sector and referent objects. It was necessary that the role of the state and its army has to change based on the newly defined threats. Throughout French history its army occupied an important position as it ensured France its independence and grandeur. However, events associated with the end of the Cold War have resulted in changes in the French defence policy. There is an expansion in the tasks that the military must assume to protect its state. On the basis of three factors (France's approach to the international system, the protection of the individual and the receding role of the army) the present thesis analyzes the changing role of the army in the defence of France.
